Zem es el protagonista del primer libro de este mundo (la primera Historia, por así decirlo). Aunque la historia original data de 2008, Zem ha pasado por muchos cambios para llegar donde está ahora.
Zem vive en Valde, un pueblo que está justo al pie de las montañas que hacen de frontera entre Fordnor y Arethenor, dos comarcas de la isla de Kauttmol. Vive con su hermano, su madre y su tío en una taberna, donde trabaja de camarero y limpiando. En realidad, es el que más trabaja. Por si fuera poco, su hermano no deja de meterse con él y ha conseguido quitarle todos los amigos. Pero Zem tiene un as en la manga: pronto habrá un Torneo y será su oportunidad para demostrar que no es un inútil y poder marcharse del pueblo con la cabeza alta.
Zem is the main character of the first book in this world (the first Legend, if you want). Even though his story was conceived in 2008, Zem has gone through a lot of changes.
Zem lives in Valde, a town near the mountains which separate Fordnor and Arethenor, two shires of the island of Kauttmol. He lives with his brother, his mother and his uncle in a tavern, where he works as a waiter and cleaning. Actually, he's the one who works harder! And if that wasn't enough, his brother spends the day making fun of him and has stolen all his friends. But there'll be a Tournament in the town soon and Zem now has the chance to prove everybody he's not useless and also to leave his home with his head held high.
