Una nueva portada para Zem/Zem's new cover

 

Zem tiene una nueva portada, de nuevo de la mano de Aevyk Art. Esta portada se desarrolló como posible portada secundaria en el caso de realizar una versión del libro sin ilustraciones. Dado el alto coste de la impresión de ilustraciones a toda página y todo color, la versión final del libro tuvo que adaptarse, aprovechando los originales a lápiz de las ilustraciones y añadiendo más dibujos a los capítulos que carecían de ellos. La idea de la portada original, con el ojo del Dragón Azabache, se venía manejando desde hacía años. No obstante, el resultado final fue una portada demasiado oscura y poco original, a pesar de transmitir la tensión y el peligro del personaje y, por lo tanto, de la historia. 

Esta nueva portada presenta a los personajes principales (de izquierda a derecha: Aury, Zem y Vahl) en un bosque que tiene bastante importancia en la historia. La antigua portada se ha mantenido como contraportada. 

Zem has a new cover, once again drawn by Aevyk Art. This cover was developed as a secondary cover for the possibility of a version of the book with no illustrations at all. Since printing the illustrations in color and covering the full page would have been too expensive, the final version of the book had to be adapted, using the original sketches of the illustrations and adding more drawings to the chapters which didn't have one. The idea for the original cover, with the Jet Dragon's eye, is from several years ago. However, the final result was a too dark and a little unoriginal cover, even though it transmitted the tension and the danger both this character and the story embody. 

This new cover has the main characters (from left to right: Aury, Zem and Vahl) in a forest that is of the most importance in the story. The old cover has been moved to the back cover.
